Instead, WhiteCardOnline.com.au partners with White Card Webinars (Workplace Health and Safety Queensland approved RTO “The Careers Academy” – RTO # 46244) to deliver the official “Connected Real-Time Delivery” version of the White Card course to QLD Residents.

WorkSafe QLD have approved selected RTO’s to deliver the White Card course via a “virtual online classroom”. This is officially referred to as “Connected Real Time Delivery” (CRTD).
Connected Delivery means that you join a class via a special secure online meeting room, via the well-known platform Zoom.
Up to 10 people can be in this “virtual classroom” for the course, and just like a face-to-face classroom course it’s expected to take most of a full day to complete (typically 6-8 hours).

Course Outline:
The White Card course (CPCWHS1001 ) will cover the following topics:
– Current Australian Health and Safety legislative requirements
– What hazards and risks are, and how to control them
– Principles of risk management
– Your duty of care as a person or entity entering a construction site
– The different types of Work Health & Safety documentation and reporting processes
– How to respond to emergency situations
– Fire safety training including use of different types of fire extinguishers
– The meaning of different types of safety signs and symbols
– Correct use of different types of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
The assessment for the course is in two components as outlined below (this is similar to normal face to face):
You will complete a series of knowledge assessment activities throughout the day of your Connected Real-Time Delivery session. This will be completed online through through the Training portal during the session.
During the Connected Real-Time Delivery session, you will be required to complete a verbal assessment and undertake practical activities (such as correctly fitting PPE) with the trainer/assessor.
Your trainer will give you all necessary instructions on the day, but you must ensure you have the required PPE with you before the session begins.
In order to complete this assessment, you MUST personally have access to the required PPE, this includes:
1. Make a Booking
Choose from one of the morning or evening sessions we have available from the calendar link button below. After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email along with an enrolment form as well as a Zoom link to be able to access the course. The course can be completed on a mobile phone, tablet or computer.
2. Attend the Live Webinar
On the scheduled day/time, join via Zoom. The trainer will allocate you to a private room to show your identification documents. During the 5-6.5 hour course the trainer will be running you through a live presentation. There will be an assessment to complete in which you have support from the trainer.
3. Assessment & Certificate
Upon successful completion, you are issued your “Statement of Attainment” (nationally recognised) on the same day by email. This certificate can be used temporarily to access a construction site until the physical card arrives which gets sent by Registered Australia Post to your mailing address.
– Computer / Mobile Phone or Tablet with a stable internet connection as well as comfortable seating arrangements with quiet surroundings
– Participants must be at least 14 years of age and be able to read and write in the English language
– 100 Points of ID – Click here to be able to see the different types of ID that can be used as well as the points structure. All ID must be with you on the day to be able to show the trainer in a private room so that they can verify your identity.
– Unique Student Identifier (USI Number) – It is a requirement for every student that is undertaking nationally recognized Vocational Education and Training to have a USI. If you don’t have one, it can be created easily using just 1 form of ID (it only takes a few minutes). To create a USI Click here. Course duration: The duration of the online webinar course is typically 5 - 6.5 hours
